MOT Testing at Reliance
All High Wycombe motorists have an obligation to maintain a safe and roadworthy vehicle. The annual MOT inspection, performed on cars which are over three years old, looks at physical, structural and emission standards based on DVSA recommendations.
Pass the MOT test and our car garage issues a pass certificate. Fail the inspection, and you can have your car repair work undertaken at Reliance Auto Test with the promise of a free re-test.
Book in for MOT testing up to 28 days ahead of your certificate expiring and, should your car pass the inspection, the old and new certificates run concurrently for a full 13 months.
All MOT certificates are now paperless.
Tyre Checks
Your vehicle tyres will be thoroughly checked during your MOT test to ensure that they are in a roadworthy condition. Our mechanics will inspect the tread depth, condition, type, size, pressure, and alignment of your tyres. If your car fails the MOT based on poor tyre conditions, you will need to have your tyres repaired or replaced before you can have an MOT re-test. It’s important that your tyres are checked again to ensure they are safe and legal on the road.
