A Vauxhall Corsa arrived at our garage which had been recovered by the RAC after cutting out. We found the issue to be water contamination in the fuel. We removed the fuel tank and drained the contaminated fuel and cleaned out the tank and fuel lines. After filling with fresh fuel the car started up and ran perfectly.

Our car mechanics recently worked on a Ford Focus ST brought in for diagnostics for an oil leak that was noticed on a recent MOT test. We found a missing driveshaft retaining clip after having the driveshaft replaced at another garage. To fix this, we replaced the driveshaft with genuine Ford parts and gearbox oil and the car was good to go!

A Ford transit came into us for brake juddering. Brake judder is the vibration felt through the steering wheel and suspension when the brakes are applied at certain speeds and pressures.We found the issue to be warped brake discs. We supplied and fitted new discs and pads and the vehicle is now good as new!

We recently had a Mini Cooper in with an issue around the central locking not working on the passenger door. We identified an electrical switch within the passenger door latch causing the door to not lock and unlock. To fix this, we replaced the unit with a genuine part. The central locking is now working as it should!

A Land Rover Freelander arrived in our garage for a replacement transfer box. The vehicle was diagnosed after the customer complained of a rumbling noise while driving. Our technicians found one of the bearings inside the transfer box had worn causing excessive play in the output shaft. After the transfer box was replaced, the vehicle was back on the road!

A Mercedes Sprinter came in for a new clutch and dual mass flywheel. The vehicle came to us with a loud rattle on start up and idle. Our car mechanics diagnosed the issue to be a worn dual mass flywheel. The parts were replaced and the vehicle is now quietly back on the road!
